Billy Kincaid

I know, it's a comic book character, a fictional story. Like everyone else, I have various monsters in my collection, i.e. Clown, Dracula, etc.

I don't know how to put in words why Billy Kincaid is different. I'm going to pass on this figure. The character is just too evil to have in my collection.

Knowing that he's a child mollester/killer probably puts up a red flag in your head (as it should)

Honestly, Elizabeth Bathory is MUCH more evil... she killed hundreds of men, women, and children in REAL LIFE... not in a comic story.

And why???.... for her own vanity.

As it's a scene out of the comic and showing a pivotal moment in the Spawn story, I really like it for it's context.

Honestly, it might be more disturbing to think of how Leatherface, Michael Meyers, and Freddy are idolized and made to be unkillable.... they're treated almost as "heros" by some fans when they're supposed to represent a "boogie man" kind of character.

For the record, the reason may be similar to why I just couldn't get the Tortured Souls (It's a bit too realistic for me.), or the Monsters 3 (People that really existed.) series of figures.

I won't be getting it either. Don't like it one bit, over the top imo. (Yah, yah I know its straight out of the comic.)

I absolutely love it! Can't wait to get it!

I understand why others might find it a little too much, but I pesonally like that fact that it's a child killer who's been given a taste of his own medicine.

On a side note...I REALLY need to read the damn comics!!

...nothing personal, just a note...

Elizabeth Bathory is certainly one of the most prolific serial killers in history, however, there is no evidence to indicate her victims were anything but females. Certainly male survivors of her victims were victims as well, but there is no historical indication that she killed any males.

However, many of the women she killed would be minors in our modern legal system, and thus she did, by our standards, prey upon children.

Lastly, the bathing in blood thing is up in the air...her primary purpose (as supported by the evidence at hand) was simply the joy of torture, which is worse in a sense--at least vanity is a purpose, twisted though it may be.

For a wealth of info about Liz, her life and times, and the fact that her eventual arrest was primarily based upon politics rather than any moral issue with her crimes, go here.

Thank you for the clarification DA....

I knew that she killed her servants and children of her servants. I just assumed that some of her servants were male, or that she didn't only kill the female ones.
